HOW DO I KNOW IF I AM IN AN ABUSIVE RELATIONSHIP?

  • Your partner/spouse has a low self-esteem,
  • He/she is often obsessively jealous and possessive of you,
  • He/she tends to control your actions or moves. E.g. He/she controls who you meet and what you wear,
  • He/she may have had a history of abusive relationships or his/her parents or family members might have been abusive towards him or her.
  • He/she often has mood swings and/or an explosive temper,
  • He/she isolates you or takes you away from your family, friends, colleagues, etc.
  • He/she is emotionally and verbally abusive,
  • He/she denies the beating/abuse,
  • He/she tends to blame you or others,
  • He/she uses threats of suicide

Republic Polytechnic Wellness Bonanza 2017

PAVE Youth Team reached out to students at the Republic Polytechnic for the Wellness Bonanza Campaign. The aim of the roadshow was to engage students in understanding what it means to "Love Fearlessly", and to be in a healthy dating relationship. The booth comprised of posters, games and a photo booth that proved to be a hit amongst the students.
