Public Education Programmes

 
  • These programmes aim to build a stronger and more informed community through community partnerships.

    Past public education programmes include:

    • The Body Shop's Stop Violence in the Home (SVITH) Campaign (2007 & 2008)

    • PAVe-Nanyang Technological University's Wee Kim Wee School of Communication and Information's Dating Violence Awareness Campaign : Choose Love, Not Abuse (2009)

    • PAVE outreach to Muslim and Christian communities. Organising two seminars : ‘Family Violence in Islam : Responding as a Muslim Community’ & ‘Religion and Family Violence: How should the church respond to violence in the family?’ (2009 & 2010)

    • Partnership with Ngee Ann Polytechnic (School of Interdisciplinary Studies) on a Stop “the Ouch”, Please (S.T.O.P) multi-pronged campaign and a conference entitled : “A Woman’s Worth” (2009)

    • Outreach to Educational Institutions on Dating Violence (2010)

    • PAVE in concert : “Choose Love not abuse – give peace a chance” (2011)
