ABOUT THE EVENT:

To commemorate the International Day for the Elimination of Violence Against Women (IDEVAW), PAVE posted a series of psychoeducation digital posters on PAVE’s social media platforms with a theme of “Partnering for violence-free, healthy relationships.”

The team used the components of the equality and power & control wheel developed by the Domestic Abuse Intervention Programs (DAIP), Duluth, Minnesota https://www.theduluthmodel.org) to highlight that love is a partnership – not ownership – towards enduring safety, that one person should not have all the control in a relationship, and that no individual has the right to make the other subservient. The key message would be that partnership is essential for a violence-free and healthy relationship.
