ABOUT THE EVENT:

The Law Society partnered with PAVE to organise a webinar on family violence on 8 July 2020. The panellists were Dr. Sudha Nair, PAVE and Law Society’s volunteer lawyer, Dharma Jayaram. The webinar discussed the legal and sociological aspects of family violence, examples of behaviours that constitute family violence and systematic patterns of self-harm. It also shared why family violence recurs and how can one protect oneself. There was a total of 321 attendees and 758 views of the video online.
