Biennial Research Seminar: Expanding The Depth And Breadth Of Social Work

This was a special instalment of the biennial research seminar to mark the organisation’s 25 years of learning from client engagement and contributing to local research and models of practice in the area of families living with violence. 160 invited guests representing partners from hospitals, schools, social service agencies, prisons, police, MSF and institutes of higher learning attended the event which was held at the Lee Kong Chian School of Medicine (Novena Campus). 6 papers were presented by social workers tracing the evolution of PAVE’s Integrated Model and factors essential to its development. A panel discussion involving active audience participation wrapped up a dynamic and engaging seminar.
