Pave 20th Anniversary And 10th Dating Violence Awareness Week

ABOUT THE EVENT:

To commemorate PAVE’s 20th anniversary and 10th Dating Violence Awareness Week (DVAW), PAVE organized an exhibition on 21 February 2019 in collaboration with *SCAPE, The Treetop.

During the event, Law and Home Affairs Minister K. Shanmugam announced key changes to the law that would give protection to unmarried people in intimate partner relationships. The exhibition also showcased PAVE’s efforts over the years in promoting respectful relationships and stopping family and intimate partner violence.

In addition, PAVE collaborated with Food & Beverage (F&B) establishments to distribute coasters bearing messages of healthy relationships from 8 February 2019 onwards as part of our annual DVAW campaign. Attractive F&B promotions were also provided by some of these establishments for patrons who supported our campaign.
