ABOUT THE EVENT:

PAVE commemorated World Elder Abuse Awareness Day in a virtual public education campaign this year, with the tagline “Elder Abuse: Make it Visible”. A poster depicting the different types of elder abuse was developed and translated into Malay, Mandarin, and Tamil, and subsequently shared to PAVE’s social media platforms. In addition, three videos produced by PAVE on elder abuse was shared in a series of posts. Through the campaign, PAVE reached out to 3,700 people, while another 340 individuals engaged with the posts by reacting to, commenting on, or sharing the posts.
